Kash Patel once said he would 'come after' journalists. It now hangs over his FBI candidacy. Trump's pick for FBI director has vowed to "come after" the media. But he also later emphasized to NBC News that his comments only apply if people "broke the law."

Now that he's in the running to lead the FBI, the comment is troubling both sides of the aisle and may become a central point of contention if he comes up for Senate confirmation.

Trump’s Senate Backers Must Tell Him to Dump Kash Patel and Pete Hegseth The consequences for the GOP of rubber stamping the worst of Trump’s nominees will be almost as bad for them as it would be for the rest of the country.

Most of Trump's nominees are perfectly normal & deserve confirmation. But some--Hegseth, Gabbard, Patel, RFK, Jr., etc.--are not only dangerous, they'll be bad news for Trump & the GOP. Trump supporters need to stop them. Dems need to do what they can to help.
