“Widow’s Game” (2025) is a movie about a police investigation into murder and manipulation. Based on a real story, it does a good job at letting the bizarre story take center stage. 🇪🇸 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

In “Mercy for None” a former mobster comes back to revenge the murder of his brother and takes down the whole organization. Over the top but entertaining for the first 4 episodes — still, by the 6th you no longer care who or how many he kills. 🇰🇷 ⭐️⭐️

“Abducted at an HBCU: A Black Girl Missing” (2025) is a short drama-thriller about a student who gets abducted by a loverboy who runs a trafficking ring and a student advisor desperate to find her. Based on true stories, which makes it even more depressing. 🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

“The 355” (2022) is a very well-made action movie set across the globe that has a feminist twist. While story is not remarkable, the group of leading women are. And I’m also a sucker for people speaking their own languages. Overall, very entertaining. 🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We focus way too much on what politicians say ,or allegedly believe, rather than what they actually do.

Alleged “beliefs” are also often used to justify illiberal and undemocratic policies and rhetoric.

In terms of political relevance, there is a clear hierarchy between what politicians:

DO (crucial)

SAY (important)

BELIEVE (irrelevant) *

* if it is unrelated to the other two.

SPD = Freedom and Direct Democracy, has been around for a while, but split off Dawn of Direct Democracy.

ANO did much better than predicted, SPD slightly worse.

Turnout was high (68.6%), again showing that high turnout is no longer a problem for the far right.

Looks like the gang is back together... 😔
