It also doesn't help that the block lists struggle to load most times so you can't even confirm if the blocklist is genuine or not.

I've been arguing this since i found out about the block lists.
It's very easy to get people onboard with your blocklist with a pretence of, let's say, "list of "ai artists"" where you also add people you just don't like.

There's also this for all posts (excluding reposts/shares) from people you follow. Pretty sweet, although i notice it bugs out every now and then.
