Went to see the vet today and Nandor was SUCH a good boy! Aside from allergies, he got a clean bill of health :)

First day on a new med for my Ankylosing Spondylitis! Sulfasalazine has been doing really well for me, but didn't quite get rid of all my symptoms, so we've added meloxicam to try and get to 100% pain relief. Was doing ibuprofen, but shouldn't do that long term. Fingers crossed this does the trick!

I think it's interesting how because of the different colors, the light kind of looks like it hits him differently and highlights different features. Beautiful dog no matter the fur!

Couldn't remember what "The Next Phase" was about initially, but after looking it up, yeah, what an incredible trio of episodes

I think either an iPad or an android Android-based one is fine. What I would maybe suggest is looking at programs and apps that you want to be running first. Both have plenty of good things for each, and very similar apps in some cases, just might help point you in the best direction for you

I really haven't noticed any for myself, so I feel fortunate that way. They can cause GI issues, but my AS was causing those so the sulfasalazine actually helps clear that up for me

Heard they might discontinue the drug at some point. So I'm happy I'm on it now before it potentially goes away too

The AS subreddit is great! I'm fortunate in that my case is very mild compared to most, and I've been able to manage with just sulfasalazine. Not looking forward to having to go to biologics some day, but I'm glad at least for the moment I can just take pills to manage
