Couldn't remember what "The Next Phase" was about initially, but after looking it up, yeah, what an incredible trio of episodes

I think either an iPad or an android Android-based one is fine. What I would maybe suggest is looking at programs and apps that you want to be running first. Both have plenty of good things for each, and very similar apps in some cases, just might help point you in the best direction for you

I really haven't noticed any for myself, so I feel fortunate that way. They can cause GI issues, but my AS was causing those so the sulfasalazine actually helps clear that up for me

Heard they might discontinue the drug at some point. So I'm happy I'm on it now before it potentially goes away too

The AS subreddit is great! I'm fortunate in that my case is very mild compared to most, and I've been able to manage with just sulfasalazine. Not looking forward to having to go to biologics some day, but I'm glad at least for the moment I can just take pills to manage

Nandor will usually crawl under the covers with me if I get up to use the bathroom at night, but only stays about 15-20 minutes before he gets too hot and finds another spot

Last night he figured out he could keep his radiators out of the covers and stayed for well over an hour before moving!

I'm so sorry to hear about your struggles. I've been diagnosed since COVID, and just a couple months ago had to start walking with a cane. Losing mobility definitely took it's toll on my mental health a bit. Wasn't prepared for how that would affect me

Got a puppy with a sick tummy. Here he is getting in a little sleep. We were up and down all night last night, this was about 4 am. Time for chicken and rice for a few days!

I love the color coordinated cane idea! I'm looking into getting one of those canes that turns into a mini telescope. Just because my mobility is impaired doesn't mean I can't have fun with it, right?

Things are already improving. I don't need my cane as much, I have actual energy again too!

Yeah I grew up with long haired dachshunds and they were such a joy AND headache. I have a Mal mix now so yeah... pretty familiar, perhaps too familiar with both breeds lol

I can't imagine the stubbornness of a Dachshund combined with well, everything about a Malinois. Terrifying...

My symptoms corroborate by the tests. Here's to hoping for improvement over the next couple of months! Would feel great to ditch the cane for a while

were both twice as high as they've ever been. I've had to start walking with a cane and felt that this has been the worst my AS has ever been. It's validating to see that my bloodworm showed that it's been worse with my symptoms getting worse. I hate that it's happening, but it's nice to see

I was finally able to go back to my doctor yesterday, and he was great. I'm back on the same meds I was on before, and we're titrating up to a therapeutic dose. He took blood and ran some tests and my sedimentation rate and CRP (two markers for inflammation that help determine disease progression) 🧵

I've been quiet about it for the most part on social media, but the last few years have been tough, and particularly my health. I was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis right as COVID lockdown was happening, and due to circumstances it was untreated for a few years
