SNAP is funded for a good while. And social security is usually unaffected.

The people most in jeopardy are pregnant & nursing women on the WIC program as well as schoolchildren.

It will affect WIC beneficiaries, school lunch & breakfast programs, food at senior centers, as well as food banks and pantries.

This will harm very vulnerable people but the Republicans are in charge. They did this. It happened 7 years ago, also under Trump.

Those most likely to be swiftly affected by the shutdown are WIC program beneficiaries, children on school lunch & breakfast programs & seniors in need of food at senior centers & adult daycare centers. Also food banks.

Please check on people who may need food that could stop very soon.

He's a governor. It's his duty to protect the vulnerable people of his state. Both in the future and right now.

President Trump and Congressional Republicans just shut down the government because they refused to stop your health care costs from rising.

I don't live in NYC, but I do wonder how on Earth anyone could achieve those promises. I would definitely vote for him. I just doubt it's possible at this point. Have you seen those tiny NY apartments that cost a fortune? It's shocking. How can he do it? I want to know. It's expensive where I live.
