never mentioned it here, but I've been trying to get the lone wolf/naturalist achievements in peak for like, a week now; even made it near the end of the last area only to make one little mistake and die, so, this is pretty big for me.

all in all, I mostly enjoyed my time with this game, but, I don't see myself picking it up again anytime soon, especially the original. maybe when I get around to buying the 2dhd remaster, but even then I've satisfied my need for now.

I had to get really lucky with the final boss in particular, since he can just regenerate all his health in a single, unpreventable move, so I just had to spam my one damage dealer (since he's immune to damaging spells) in hopes that I can defeat him before he heals. (3/4)

not to mention, there's a couple of common enemies in the final area that have instakill spells (one of which wipes your whole party), and with no real way to revive outside of the one party member with a spell when in a dungeon, it becomes a frustrating experience. (2/2?)

finally beat dragon warrior 2, and...
eh.
don't get me wrong, it's a conventionally good jrpg! it's just that, like its predecessor, it requires a TON of grinding, especially when you reach the endgame (lowest character was at lv.24, and that was after a couple nights grinding) (1/2)
