His right hand is oversized and has a rock-like texture, and his demon horns are sanded down to two flat discs above his eyes. He wears a trench coat and combat belt. The image is rendered in heavy black ink and a wash of greys. Hellboy is a no-nonsense paranormal investigator created by American cartoonist Mike Mignola.
