Another great blog from @bryonyshannon.bsky.social - I never thought of the word "beds" in these terms, but she's right how the language of beds and social care have become intertwined, I even used the term bed bound to describe my mum, oh, & read the end story about Clive at the end!

It's Time to Talk day! So by way of information re the stigma associated with Mental Illness. Having your rights removed and being given a diagnosis changes your life! It's an additional label to hang round my neck. But please remember my self-stigma is made worse by you contributing, just be kind!

The unfortunate reality is that osteoarthritis curtails a great deal of the pleasure I get out of things. I sleep poorly and I loved to dance, I really have to satisfy myself with the music now to regulate my mood and less on dance. It really really sucks!!!
