Decades ago, I met this guy. He sat at the bar I was working and had lunch. I didn't recognize who he was, it was just him and me with the occasional server coming in the bar. He was a fascinating and fun conversationalist. A regular customer walked in as he left, then said, "That's was Alan Page!"
