the ledge grabbing was...rather awful and some of the one hitkill deathtraps just felt fucking unfun...
i remember some swinging scythe-ass pendulums right next to instakill spike pits being especially annoying...

yeah it admittedly has some jank...
i think they largely managed to polish it at the current stage and it received a large number of QoL and content updates over the years, but i never hear anyone talk about it, which is sad.
