I cracked open my copy today, and while I usually encourage my kids read them, they're not gonna see this issue. ๐ซ

Sometimes I post my paintings. All my paintings are Glazed with https://glaze.cs.uchicago.edu/

30.09.2025 00:12 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I got mine, thank you!
29.09.2025 15:16 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I really like this one. I've been struggling to render a fire on a beach at dusk. Thanks for the great example.
27.09.2025 20:54 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Great colors, well done!
26.09.2025 21:44 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I'm just shocked about the ROI on the donations. Last year, they erased nearly $7 million with raised ~$40k - a 175x return.
Imagine absolutely drowning in medical debt and one day receiving a letter that your debt had been bought and canceled without warning by strangers - the ecstatic relief.
The people demanded the return of the show, and the people's demands have been heard!
What a treat!
Those look great. How large is the painting?
23.09.2025 01:38 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0This is great!
The background looks like a big, wet wash. Did you preserve the flower and branches while doing the wash, or did you just paint over them?
This is great, and incredibly difficult to get the complicated perspective right. Well done!
17.09.2025 20:53 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0This is great, awesome job on the perspective and especially showing the light through the tall windows. How large is this?
17.09.2025 16:07 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0That's great. Is this oil or acrylic?
15.09.2025 19:15 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It's already much better, thank you!
15.09.2025 17:12 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0If the goal of the feed is "show me what people are working on", which is what I'm here for, blacklisting particular accounts from the feed is the best solution, IMHO.
It's not punitive, but curation. I think it's great we have accounts posting public domain art - just not in this particular feed.
Thank you - it really is one of my favorite feeds.
I find it's been taken over a bit by a few content accounts mass-posting public domain or well-known artists' paintings. I look forward to the change.
I'm personally looking to see individuals posting their own work.
Thanks for maintaining it!
Impressive how the shape edges are so crisp while the interiors of the shapes have such smooth gradients.
13.09.2025 04:43 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The saturation sells it. Well done.
11.09.2025 14:08 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0You too, bro!
11.09.2025 01:31 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0That was what I suspected. I basically made the same frame. ๐
bsky.app/profile/omar...
That frame looks great. What's it made of?
11.09.2025 01:19 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Great use of values, wow!
10.09.2025 17:27 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0So good. The features are abstract and yet crystal clear. Well done.
10.09.2025 15:17 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0That's great. I do the same thing, but the difference is that my "jazz" is a giant mess, whereas your lines are super clean. ๐ฅณ
09.09.2025 16:33 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Do you draw these paintings free-hand? And do you do large shapes, then break into smaller shapes, or are all the shapes laid down as they are in the end? I'm so curious to see your process.
09.09.2025 16:07 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Looks awesome. Great effect.
09.09.2025 03:24 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0These are great. That painting of the field with the rows is amazing. Well done!
08.09.2025 21:02 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I struggle so much with the nocturne paintings, great use of value mixed with loose drawing. Well done!
07.09.2025 06:08 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Great colors, fun composition and mix of sketching. Well done!
07.09.2025 06:06 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0@ianmcque.bsky.social is it sold out? I'm not seeing an "add to cart" button on the page.

03.09.2025 00:14 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Every part of this painting is well done. The tapestry, the vase, the leaves, the flowers. Excellent
