Being shitty on the internet about people who are doing their best, while others who do that work can see, just shows how little you value their time.

Yelling into a void that is full of teachers that see your vitriol is shitty. Do better.

THAT BEING SAID, your overworked and underpaid teacher probably isn't trying to make class difficult for you.

It's very likely that they are exhausted, under equipped, and expected to deliver a cookie cutter experience.

Additionally, for many instructors, it is true that they hold multiple jobs to make ends meet. Sometimes this is more teaching work, but other times it's side hustle odd jobs. Sometimes this helps with social skills...

One of my favorite courses was taught by someone who was also a bartender.

This can sometimes cause your instructor to come across as disinterested, but the reality is that they are probably learning that content ALONGSIDE you.

Expecting them to be fully equipped for every possible learning style is not realistic, especially on the wages most are given.

MANY of the people you see as a "professor"(full time salary worker, probably with tenure) are just part time workers.

Adjunct and visiting professors can have less autonomy to make their own content - often, they are expected to teach classes that are already packaged to a standard.

There are a lot of people who attend college in my feed.

There also seems to be a trend where these people don't see their instructor as a person who is constrained by their employment.

As someone who USED to teach university classes lemme peel back the curtain a bit for you...
