Lesson of the day, make your characters suffer

Today I wrote 2500 words, 750 less than yesterday. Is it because I was a better writer yesterday? No, it's because my tummy booboo and I rested.

This was possibly the hardest 3250 words I've written in my life. I see now that on days when I am not as stressed as I am now, writing any less is just beneath me.

We won't always have the luxury of being physically or mentally healthy enough to work. Enjoy it while you can.

When things get tough I like to look at some positive reviews my work has gotten in the past. I am a writer who has done a unique concept well. Financial and medical stress are nothing to me. I am a big boy. *cries* while trying to type one sentence.

Nothing quite like a medical emergency (all fine now) to interrupt your flow and to remind you how good you really have it.

To think we have the best access to healthcare than 99.9% of humans in history and we're still not happy.

Unhappiness is a skill. Too many people are masters.
