I want to thank you all for your very very kind messages today. Every one of them was helpful and comforting. Somehow with medicine and food, Tordie has become more of herself today, and we’re going to take it one day at a time. Every new day a new little blessing of time. Appreciate you all.

She’s so unlike herself and so weak, and with no prospect for recovering, we decided to end her suffering on Monday. She does feel more like herself today which is nice but makes that even harder to call them in. Would just appreciate any thoughts if you’ve gone through this too. Thank you.

I’ve been absolutely devastated since. She’s just 10 years old. And I’m never experienced the loss of a pet. I’ve just been keeping her comfortable and trying to get her to eat to get her through the weekend. The dr was so pessimistic that she wouldn’t make it even 2 days.

Taking a break from my silly pics to share this in the hope that some of you might have something comforting to say. On Friday, after just a couple days of her not feeling well, I learned that my baby girl Tordie has something like kitty lymphoma and she has deteriorated significantly and quickly.
