Yes, AI raises big important ethical concerns and I share those concerns.
But the truth is that autistic adults have so few resources available to help ease the burden of adulting w/autism so from that perspective, AI can help fill in those support gaps.

Tested my AI assistant w/a common autistic experience: feeling overwhelmed.
Didn't expect to end up tearing up when it said:
“You're not lazy or failing. You're doing the impossible: being a caregiver, planner, and household manager while already at capacity. That matters.”
I felt so seen 😭

Last year I built a course to help autistics navigate their late realization journey. Launch flopped. I shelved it, thinking it was a failure.
As an experiment, I used that content to train an AI assistant that delivers powerful, validating support to autistics. Thoughts?
