Have you noticed that Trump only won the presidency when he had a woman opponent? Both times.

That says more about us as a country and our failure to recognize the power of women than it does about him as a man.

He seeks to rule by decree because he cannot govern within the law.

“They’re taking our jobs” was always a lie. Alabama proved it.

Alabama tried a “tough” immigration law, and it backfired hard. Immigrants fled, crops rotted, and farms collapsed. Americans tried to step in but couldn’t last a day.

They’re not taking your jobs; they’re doing the jobs you won’t do.

“It is not a radical idea to say that every man, woman and child in America can have a decent standard of living.”

Me over here, having to wait a year to get a regular old checkup with a primary care provider in the American healthcare system despite being told that my doctors office was “accepting new patients.” Yeah, ok.

They’re pretty much perfect as is - thus why I was sworn to secrecy as a child! But we do dress them up when given as gifts around Christmas time by putting them on a “fancy” (aka holiday) sturdy paper plate, wrapped in clear cling wrap, and with a festive bow on top!

When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.
