I've always had a very hard time falling asleep in a way that allows me to access dreams and perhaps alternate realities. That will hopefully change tonight because I will be more disciplined and concentrate harder.

Does anyone remember "Threads-mania" when millions of people started using Threads, the Instagram-linked Twitter alternative?

That site was an utter disappointment because I started seeing right wing materials. I even had a troll bully me there.

I stopped using it months ago after someone used an anti autism slur at me.

I actually feel like a lot of why we can't "disagree better" anymore is the vitriol from Trump's base, including how it has moved past things like criticizing Obama for a healthcare plan's impact on the deficit or Biden's economic policies to neo-Nazi and neo-Nazi-adjacent hatred.

When I say it is bloated I mean that the amount of time and RAM it uses for simple tasks is generally much higher than for Linux.

It took 50 seconds to boot a computer in Windows that Linux took 5 seconds or less.

In the next 50 years, religion will decline and the remaining practicing Christians in America will be overwhelmingly right-wing because the children of religious people in left-leaning families often become irreligious, but not really in conservative families if the family stays right-wing.

I've always liked learning but sort of disliked school because it was not the kind of learning I liked and some of the teachers were bad. Having special education was not a privilege it was the difference between being left behind and being heard.

I am glad I have been able to go to a good school because many if not most autistic people hate school because they had terrible teachers and peers.

But I hated when they said I have autism spectrum disorder on my IEP because I think that term is slightly offensive primarily because it's inaccurate

I live in New Jersey in real life. I want to live in a bluer state, even if that means Texas doesn't turn blue. I can't live with the idea of Republicans winning statewide here where I live.

I think this means New Jersey will get bluer in the future. Same with other blue states.

In 2032, there is likely going to be an apportionment that will subtract roughly 10 electoral votes from Democrats. This is what the election would have looked like with the states if Hillary Clinton won in 2016 based on projected 2032 electoral votes.

Yet another reason to turn Texas blue.

Take a look at this poll of Russia. 60% of Russians say Poland is the country's biggest enemy, and that Russia is not a European country.

Being white doesn't make you European even if you are in Europe geographically and apparently Russians agree.

Not even with Trump as president.

Anecdotally I think it is Republicans who are leaving. I have had Republican neighbors leave my neighborhood before.

But I think Texas will because the demographics moving to Texas are so overwhelmingly Dem leaning I think it may partly offset the red lean of Texas's reputation.
