Viewing porn isn't inherently bad. It isn't addicting like certain substances are. Viewing it can be compulsive for some, like many behaviors can become. Yes, some porn images are bad. Helpful reading: ETHICAL PORN FOR DICKS by David J. Ley, PhD.

They are all very narcissistic, often very likely meeting the criteria for narcissistic personality disorder. That is a very real problem, which is hugely enabled by values of mainstream society.

I do think it’s naive to believe that everyone will “do the right thing” if laws disappear.

I read this. Interesting article. My sense, as a psychotherapist, that compulsive porn use can be a pattern within OCD for some people, which is its own diagnosis. So many compulsive behaviors can and do occur for people dealing with OCD. I myself have had binges of porn viewing, part of my OCD.

I just got my new MMR vaccine, since I was 11 or 12 the last time I had one. Better safe than sorry. And my husband just got one too. We will each be getting our pneumonia vax next. And then I’ll get the Mpox vax after that. Then, in the fall, it will be time for a new Covid-19 booster.

I was and am still saddened at Leonard Nimoy's passing. He was such a good actor and man of integrity. I miss that he's no longer with the living. I'm so glad you're still here with us, Mr. Takei.
