Glee would have been when the really big popularity kicked in though, families watching on network TV.

I wondered if it was US only. It feels like it has relatively little European relevance let alone anywhere else in the world. Although Last Christmas's high position suggests it can't just be America.

I do think she’s had too many hits perhaps which sounds odd to say but at odds with the past 15 years where like a lot of heritage artists, no real hits anymore. She ‘needs’ to do some duets, like Elton.

If you're wondering how I know the date of that, I was rifling through The Stage archive, and it just happened to cite the date of that shoot, which is bizarre because you don't normally see that kind of detail. Ironic it was a day when I wasn't in Gower.
