As everyone shares their 2025 “Wrapped” stats, I want to shout out the people who picked up an actual physical copy of my music this year (or anyone’s music, really!). Here are a few of my personal favorite releases of 2025 that reminded me why I fell in love with albums in the first place.

Closing a year-long journey of exploration and collaboration with friends. This album completes the reimagining of all nine TRACES pieces. It marks the end of a chapter that began with my debut album in 2024, a final look back before stepping into what comes next. Cheers!

𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞é𝙚𝙨 

Une prise de son spontanée chez moi avec Yannick Anctil. Quelques overdubs de mellotron/célesta, suivis de plusieurs couches de traitement, ont recréé l’ambiance d’une vieille table tournante dans une maison abandonnée.

A short take on 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨, a bit more energetic than the original, with Jean-Michel Leblanc on guitars. I love the little outro that turns into a textural playground. And yes, the “bass” is just a guitar with an octaver!

This is the cover for Will Régnier - Smoke and Mirrors. It consists of nine abstract art squares with swirling patterns in black and white on the top and bottom rows, and fiery colours on the middle three. Each pattern varies in texture and flow.Today we covered lots of things. We talked about body parts on animals and humans. We practised comparing animals, talked about hurting ourselves and practised pronouns, e.g. he-him and we-us.
