Me too
Congrats! You should absolutely feel good about that, that’s amazing! 🎉
I just learned that Anthony Bourdain was 44 when he wrote the book that really launched everything we will remember him for.
Gonna remind myself of this whenever I feel like I'm getting too old to pursue anything new.
Good advice. I’ve done 5 half marathons so I think that’s part of why I’m thinking about a full now 😅
Thank you! I thought it was a good book. It’s about a Native American man finding his place in his family/community.
I always swore I’d never sign up for a marathon because the training takes so much time, but there is a liiittle part of me that wants to do one. Just once.
Caught my partners cold and needed to take the day off today, but I can’t help but think it’s been about as good as a sick day can get - I watched some Anthony Bourdain and will probably finish this book.
The only thing that would’ve made this better is if I could fully breathe through my nose. 🤣
Yikes! Thats not good at all.
Overheard someone telling their friend they asked ChatGPT for legal advice last night and they were being completely serious.
We are so doomed.
Only two more days until my car clock is the right time again!
Just got back from my run and saw the first cherry blossoms of the year!
Unfortunately, that means the Bradford pear trees are going to start blooming, too.
But at least the cherry blossoms will be nice. 🌸

Oh no, starting another book that has a family tree at the beginning just like last one I read. More names to keep straight. 😅
Not yet but I was thinking about it. Is it good?
I didn’t realize this took me so long to read! I liked it but I think that speaks to how invested I was in it. I was into the story while I was reading it, just wasn’t eager to pick it up every night. Still, it’s definitely beautifully written and I can see why it’s a classic.
The best thing about living in Vancouver, Washington is that when I travel I can just say I live in Vancouver and people just assume I’m Canadian.
I prefer it that way these days.
Lots of fun at Providence Park last night

One of us is going to have to change. @mkat90.bsky.social
Win or lose, I bet it feels so good to be done with your event at the Olympics.
I don’t know that I can handle watching any more Olympic figure skating. I just feel so bad when they fall. 🫣
Now it’s Kid Rock. SOMEBODY PLEASE END THIS ROUND NOW
I do capture in RAW, but I am admittedly still learning how to use my camera. I am grateful our phones are good for moments like this too, though!
It is! I usually love hiking in LA this time of year.
I’ve read a lot of Irving novels but haven’t watched any of the movies.
Checking out one of my favorites tonight: The World According to Garp.
One of my favorite pictures I’ve taken, just wish I had had my real camera for it instead of my iPhone 😅
Absolutely! I was just commenting on it because it was exciting to see yesterday!
No, about 3 hours south
Not a hot take but the more I think about the commercials from yesterday the more grossed out I feel. AI, sports betting, and weight loss? I guess I’m not the target audience for most things these days.
I’m guessing not as many folks in Seahawks gear there then 😂
I’m in southern Washington so while it’s not Seattle it is the same state.
I’m a Lions fan first, too, but this is great! 💙💚
