Just as my teacher let me down, I see support for women disappearing. Little has changed and I fear a loss of so many more rights. I'm fighting every day to beat this depression by carefully curating what I see and take in.
I'm 65. I remember in 1972 standing up in class and presenting on what was called "women's lib" at the time. I was laughed at by the boys in the class. I still remember their pimply little faces after all this time. I looked at my male teacher for support and he shrugged his shoulders.
