Like, Deltarune is an ongoing story based game with a clear plot that's happening in real time, FNAF were games where the plot was just the setup to the gameplay, it wasn't happening in real time and it was hidden around in a non-cronological order, that's the difference

YES, EXACTLY, everyone wants to be the next Matpat, so they overlook the actual narrative story that's being told, instead focusing on overcomplicated "lore" and "twists" and "SOLVING deltarune" which makes no sense because it isn't some incredible mystery, it's a plot that is actively developing
