Also, VRChat uses Persona, and sadly, *Twitch* uses Persona. I can't receive any money from Twitch yet, because they want me to send my ID *and* face scan to Persona. Yes, identity verification requires both. I asked Twitch support for another option, and they said there isn't one. #twitch #persona

I've seen people say that Discord is no longer working with Persona, but the closest I've found is "When asked for comment, Discord told Kotaku its work with Persona was part of a “limited test” which has since been concluded.", which just means they've finished the testing phase.

I feel ya on the anxiety 🫂 I've been a software developer for over 20 years, and I've had to end stream when I froze up on a simple logic thing. I always have to push through an anxiety block to go live, or often to do everyday tasks. If it helps, your art is always inspirational and a delight 💜

The game was super fun! Unfortunately, my audio interface stopped working randomly, and when I unplugged it, Windows 11 crashed. Thankfully, the raid to @ladyemily.nebula.tv still worked! I got back downstairs, and my Windows 11 laptop also crashed. Moral of the story: fuck Windows, lol! 😸

Oh, sorry, someone already suggested that. In terms of ramifications in the world, lenticular printing has some big limitations that would give it away and make it not as useful for large-scale applications, so that could be interesting.

I think something like this could be made to work irl using "lenticular printing", where tiny ridges of plastic are used to make different images visible at different angles, like cards that change image. (To be clear, it's fine to be excited about the numbers. I'm referring to some, especially some younger creators, who make it sound like their primary objective is the numbers, instead of making art they're excited about. Some even *start out* expressing guilt over not feeding the algorithm enough.)

It's been great seeing so many new animators and illustrators getting going on YouTube, but it's a bit disheartening that some of them sound like they're in it for the numbers. Create for yourself, create to spark joy in others, but if you create for the numbers, they'll never give you fulfillment 💜

There's an experimental new procedure that I might try to get this year, but it's taken years of bouncing between doctors who have no clue. I'm staying optimistic, but trying not to get my hopes up too high. I hope that you can get the help and support you need, too, Penny 💜

Maybe it's because I'm so used to having to hide it or pretend it's okay, because people view mucus as gross. Maybe I'm still hoping there's a simple treatment that'll fix it. Maybe it's because I've waited a year to have a painful procedure a 2nd time, only for the doctor to say

I'm limited in sleeping positions due to my nose, which then affects the rest of my body. I often don't get enough air from unconscious breathing and end up gasping for air when, e.g. my partner asks me a question. Crying becomes a panic for air fast. Yet, I *still* struggle to call it a disability.

When I wear a mask when family members visit, they say things like "Oh, you're still doing that?" and roll their eyes at me. I can't listen to guided meditation for my anxiety, since so many say "take a deep breath in through your nose", and I can't do that, else I'll have even worse phlegm.

I'm glad you called it a disability. I have a breathing condition that's hard to get people to take seriously, (except my partner, who's seen me at my worst 💜), since it's easy to dismiss as minor when you're not living it every day, having it affect every aspect of your life.
