Hannibal did keep his emotional support rat with him at all times. It was a very large rat. He held it against his chest and shoulder while he served dinners.

Will started jogging and just refused to acknowledge Hannibal most of the time. It was not good.

Then there was a proper fifth season but it had to resolve the weirdness of season four before it could get to Hannibal and Will being murder husbands again.

Had a dream that there was a fourth season of Hannibal but it was made on a shoestring budget by a random guy NBC hired and involved Hannibal having an emotional support rat and living in a small Southern town that Will and Alana had also moved to. Alana forgot that Hannibal murdered people.

I think it’s more that they *aren’t* especially familiar that has me kind of anxious, honestly.
