I did the same thing when I was getting into anime, and I think that’s less common now because of how much new anime comes out each season. I remember hitting some seasons back in the day that were fairly light on cool new shows, so I would start FMB or Steins;Gate or Toradora instead.

I’ve caught up with Fool Night. It’s very good, especially when it’s bouncing around to different perspectives. It reminds me a lot of 20th Century Boys. I wish I could read 100 more chapters right now.
