I hate to put some of these names out there, but Staios could explore the possibility of moving a couple of these guys to add more speed, shooting, size, physicality, discipline. Not all, and only for the right pieces.

Ullmark and Leevi don’t get a pass. They haven’t been nearly good enough this year. It’s not all on them, given the team play in front of them. But they need to find a way to make a save at a key moment.

Too many passers and not enough shooters up front. Not enough physicality on the backend. Way too slow. Not enough discipline.

And that’s just the personnel. The PK is obviously a huge problem, and I am not a big fan of Green’s lineup decisions. Never giving guys a chance to get chemistry.

The forward group doesn’t have a good mix of skill sets either.

I’m not convinced of the way this team is built. No speed. Very little size or physicality in the backend.

Every piece by itself seems like it should work, but the picture as a whole doesn’t work.
