Finally time to start getting this woodworking bookshelf project off the ground! In this article, I finalize the sketch, build a full-scale mockup, and place it in the room where the final bookcase will go: fromsawtosoftware.com/2024/03/14/b...

Happy Pi Day! My wife is fully in the spirit of the holiday when she marked our newly opened cheese and turkey with today's "date" ๐Ÿคฃ

Clamps hanging on dowels attached depth-wise to a wall.

Storing clamps + wall space efficiency = impossible? Throwback to a few months ago when I wanted a place to hang my clamps without taking up much of my precious wall space. Every solution I found took up too much wall space, so I made my own ๐Ÿ˜ fromsawtosoftware.com/2024/01/09/m...

I wish I could react to posts with more than just a like. Would be far more efficient to react with "๐Ÿ˜‚" instead of needing to write a post to explain my reaction... ๐Ÿ˜‚

I'm an engineer that does both hardware and software ๐Ÿ˜‚

Is there a way I can look it up with a model number or something? Apologies if I missed that info in a thread somewhere.

Interesting! What's the benefit of the Bluetooth? Mine has a display and steady state temperature control, but it's done the old fashioned way with an RLC circuit or similar (I assume), with no processor besides something to display the temperature on the very basic segment display.

I know it's not an answer to your question, but I think having that available would be great! I'm looking forward to learning how to use a sewing machine and making our own clothes with my wife ๐Ÿ˜Š Would have enjoyed learning it earlier in life, too.

I LOVED when I discovered origami as a kid. We thankfully had about 3 books in the school library and I made almost everything in them ๐Ÿ˜ Thinking back, this probably contributed to my maker tendencies. I would have absolutely borrowed one of your kits back then!

Love this! We need more places like this. Having makerspaces for a community can really make a difference in someone's path, just like my woodshop class in high school did for me (no makerspaces near me then).

Making Router Table Drawers - Part 1 of 2 Since my last article, Iโ€™ve ordered a few more tools for the upcoming console bookshelf project. Guess Iโ€™ll just wait around while they are shipped outโ€ฆ

Before starting on the bookshelves, waiting on some more woodworking safety equipment to come in that I ordered from Rockler.

In the meantime, I'm using this time to make some drawers for my router table. Part 1 of the blog article:
