Completely back this but the devil will be in the detail. With another librarian parent I set up a library completely from scratch at my children's primary school. They bought an LMS and we trained student helpers but they struggled with maintenance and loans/returns once they were on their own.

Agreed - one of my favourite questions for clients (of all ages!) is 'What would success look like for you?'. I ask it of myself too, as careers professionals are not immune from the lure of groupthink!

I've certainly asked it of myself too, especially when at one point, natural career progression might have been to move into management. ("Do I want to be a manager? No I think that might upset my career satisfaction applecart")

This is such an important idea to discuss, especially for young people who can often get direction from school and their parents towards what *they* deem to be 'good careers' rather than what the young person might want for their own future. #Careers #CareersAdvice #RCDP

In an attempt to get out of the house (can be dull WFH when your self-employed) I've been spending Tuesday mornings working in Nottingham Trent University's Boots library - a perk of being a (twice) alumnus. I always love to walk back past the iconic Newton Building, one of Nottingham's finest.
