Thanks to the many Sanofi contributors and our collaborators at Denali Therapeutics. Thanks also to the ALS community, Target ALS, the The National Institutes of Health NeuroBioBank, and Mass General Hospital for providing the precious samples that made this study possible.

We hope this work furthers our understanding of the role neuroinflammatory pathways and reactive glia play in ALS and can help identify new targets for biomarker and therapeutic development for this devastating disease.

I'm pleased to share our most recent study led by Matija Zelic. We profiled human ALS spinal cords to uncover neuroinflammatory microglia and astrocyte states and show a key role for Ripk1 as a contributor to the pathological tissue environment in ALS.
