Not being a business.

And I want people to afford drawings of their characters being in a situation that makes them feel cozy inside, like when I was still too shy to post my drawings and just loved to feel conected to situations artists portrayed.

That’s why I started this journey…

But soon other people saw the profits it could bring and adviced me to do this as a business model.
Hated that, hated that a part of me became only a way to make money.
And because of that fact, I ended up burning most of what I had done last year, and that’s why I’m returning to -

Off.
Reminded me when I was coursing through art school and had a 3 year burn out so bad I could barely pick up the stylus.
I started doing commissions as means to aliviate some financial strain and start building up my portfolio on babyfur art, and well, I loved it! -

“Why would an artist want to release cheaper stuff?” You may ask.
Well, this year for me was full of discoveries and reinvention, last year I decided to look at myself as a business (which I am) but that outlook completely burned me out.
Barely got myself to do anything and ended up sleeping my ahh-

Somehow the YCH ended up being so good, proud of my work even if I’m kind of working myself to the ground, Also with pending commissions fckkk

Anyways, hope I can get a cheaper YCH out, I know the global financial situation is bad, just want everyone to be able to afford something that brings joy

I love Tumblr, but not in the way an Og Tumblr blogger would love it.
It's just that I've curated my algorithm enough that all I see is animaniacs, tadc, etc. and is very nice to just open it and see a more artistic oriented type of social media.
It feels a lot more private than twitter and bsky too
