You can (try to) justify going to war with Iran.

But you can't justify a president soaking the Constitution to start that war by himself without Congress. That's not how America works. Just resign en masse & leave the chamber empty if you're not going to do your jobs; it will have the same effect.

Why doesn't the US face the same kind of sanctions as other global bad actors?

Bombing a sovereign nation at this massive scale without Congressional authorization is blatantly unconstitutional.

The flag, general, & maybe even field-grade officers who carried this out followed illegal orders.

Likely under secular law (though I am no attorney), but certainly under moral law.

This U.S. attack on Iran is pure evil. Every member of Congress who refuses to impeach & convict Trump for doing this without authorization or provocation has blood on their hands.

To Iranian civilians with bombs raining down, I am so sorry.

If I was in Congress, I would attend tonight's SOTU but then just sit there reading a book the whole time and not look up once. Maybe Lord of the Rings, maybe the Gospel According to Luke.

I want applicants to understand that AI cover letters make their applications significantly more likely to get rejected. When your answer is verbatim what I got from 100 other people, it means I know nothing about you, your writing skill, or your actual work. I can only go off a scan of your resume.

I always loved Robert Duvall's acting. One of my favorite roles that doesn't get cited quite as much was the villain Ned Pepper in the original True Grit. A toast to living for 95 years; RIP to a real one.

CCTV footage appears to show DHS agents posing as people having car trouble in order to lure a target out of his house before arresting them. The target comes out and starts helping them before 3 vehicles surround the scene. The car "experiencing" trouble then drives off with them.
