The problem I have with that is they have money, power and influence and should stay and help. Leaving the rest of us to fight on our own is not an act of bravery or compassion.

I was deeply disheartened when I heard that the talks about plastic and as they did. Now is the time for radical change in manufacturing, food storage, and all the other ways that we have become complacent about using plastic.

I remember, even when I was very little, hearing about countries who were “behind the Iron Curtain“ and how the only news they received was through the state run agencies. I felt so sorry for them. We need to continue to push back in every possible way against this disgusting authoritarian regime.

Big good news! Senators from both parties endorsed a $400 million increase to the budget of the National Institutes of Health on Thursday, in an Appropriations Committee vote- a clear rebuke of DTs plan to dramatically reduce the agency’s spending.

It fascinates me that this insistence on Christianity often goes hand-in-hand with child pornography, or some other sexual issues that they’re trying to hide.

This is what happens when GOP legislators realize that this erratic slashing of funds is going to affect their own lives in the lives of their children.
