4 arrested taking care packages to immigrant detainees at Burlington processing center Three activists and a reverend sought to bring attention to conditions and alleged human rights violations at the facility where immigrants are held.

Four people—including UU Rev. Fred Small—were arrested while trying to deliver care packages to immigrants detained at the Burlington ICE processing center. This action reflects UUs’ ongoing commitment to and immigrant justice.

Transgender Day of Remembrance is a day dedicated to memorializing transgender people who have been murdered as a result of transphobia and anti-transgender violence. It serves to raise public awareness of the hate crimes and prejudice faced by the transgender community and honor the lives lost.

International Men's highlights positive male role models and raises awareness of men's well-being, focusing on issues such as mental and physical health, male suicide rates, and discrimination. The day also seeks to promote better gender relations and gender equality.

Breaking the rules comes more naturally to some of us than others. We'll explore some tools we all need to develop to prepare ourselves to work for collective liberation in times of crisis.

This Sunday Rev. Bran and Tom Winner will offer reflections on caregiving journeys and what it means to love someone who is living with dementia.
