I think it's an interesting area to understand better from a wider sample of the population. You make some good points. In my opinion (and you know what they say about opinions) proposing to be a non NATO member state is not a message that would resonate. They should at least question that.

I know that Rep of Ireland and Austria operate with neutrality. Perhaps that is one alternative, for some, but I am interested to learn what the majority opinion is on the subject of defence in an independent Scotland. If there is any data that is driving those policy decisions not join NATO.

The UK armed forces had, until recently, more combined military cadets than the regular forces. Now think of this in terms of a Scottish military. Regardless of whether the US is a member of NATO, which it still is, it does not seem logical to sell the proposition of not being part of NATO.

As it stands today, the US has not abandoned NATO. I agree that other defence pacts would be sensible. But people also vote on policies and issues that resonate now. It makes no sense to me that some indy parties would remove Scotland from the largest defence pact on the planet.

Remember these people (The super rich and corrupt) when you need to fill the void of jobs that immigrants used to do. Strip their assets, put them to work. Offer them the dignity they refused to offer others (Food and medical aid). In the past, the guillotine blade would have been their fate.

There is something missing in anyone that would treat non violent citizens with such brutality. This is being orchestrated by the super rich. Men that have never had to experience that level of unjust indignity. They should have no safe harbour to escape accountability. None (All of their assets)

My great grandmother died of this when she was very young. We are really lucky we have B12 now, but it is still under researched (funded) and being diagnosed too late. We need better way to detect it early. The treatment package for most is wrong. Neuropathy symptoms being ignored.
