My book had a great year so what a bonus treat to be on some year-end lists. It’s especially nice that this is from the CBC.

Here’s something I never thought I would announce. I just recorded an episode of the Record Store Day podcast with musician and actor, John C. Reilly, and it will be on an upcoming episode of the podcast sometime over the next few weeks. I’ll tell you more when the episode comes out.

@pulmyears.bsky.social Really enjoyed "John Candy: A Life in Comedy." I've always loved him, but this book made him all the more human to me--this was a real man, with anxieties and insecurities, but also kindness and love. There was SO much love in this book.

Of course I agree with you in hindsight, especially knowing now that it is a zero sum game, scorched earth prospect these days. Biden restored some of the things Trump cut in his first term, but sadly, Corporatocracy has been a factor in every presidency. I hope we live to see a shift away from it.

Trump Returns to Gasoline as Fuel of Choice for Cars, Gutting Biden’s Climate Policy

Trump is now in his most petulant, petty a-hole era. If he’s not on the Epstein list, he should just prove it - but would we even believe him ? Instead, he’s willing to take a wrecking ball to America, figuratively and literally, and f*ck over your child’s future.

I used to think Republicans fell in line because they feared Trump would attack them in a primary election. Now, I realize it's much worse. They are physically afraid of Trump's supporters and the risk of violence.
