It's not me, falsely accusing someone of doing something is lazy and ignorant

This is some of the abuse I've had this evening for the crime of having the same name as someone else. I thought this place was supposed to be better than Twitter. Post's still up nearly 4 hours later and still no apology for the mistaken identity. Not the only person who's tagged me on this either

There's a lot of positives about BlueSky, but tonight has taught me that some people can't give up the habits they learned on Twitter. Trying to start a pile-on and sending me abuse because I have the same name as some prick sending abuse to women is not on. Hypocrisy at its finest there.

To anyone else out there who feels like tagging me, no this isn't me. Shouldn't have to deal with shit like this, in the same way that Jess here shouldn't be having to deal with the kind of abuse she's had, just because I have the same name as that prick

Jumping to conclusions to attempt to create a pile on for the sake of internet clout is pretty low. Especially considering your answer to abuse is more abuse. I'll await an apology but I don't hold out hope
