I even have issues with Dolphin, I swear it has worse frame pacing and doesn't look as smooth as Nintendont on my Wii U. I would rather play GameCube/Wii games via Nintendont/USB Loader GX any day.

To be fair, I was playing on Linux so there may have been some Linux-specific problems, since DX12 games tend to have issues on Nvidia right now. So I dunno how well it actually holds up on Windows right now.

The demo feels rough in general. Also capped to 30fps on PS5 with awful film grain, and on my 9800x3D/5070 Ti (albeit on Linux, no idea on Windows) it kept stuttering at default settings + 1440p DLAA and couldn't lock 60fps either.

The new Fatal Frame 2 remake on Switch 2 is really cool. In handheld mode, the gyro works as if the Switch is a real camera, and this is not available on PC. And if the PS5 version is truly also just 30fps (it's not up yet), I'd just go with this version if you play on console.

It's already up in JP/AUS/NZ and I played it. Dunno why Wario64 didn't report on it yet, but it's largely okay with a bit of rough frame pacing.

Crusader of Centy on Genesis is pretty good. 2D Zelda-esque game with more straightforward progression but cool combat encounters.

They sure did. Nixxes did do that Horizon Zero Dawn remaster for PS5/PC though, so theoretically, they could pivot to more of that stuff just for console... although Bluepoint dying doesn't really inspire optimism.

I don't know what they truly want to do, and if they actually do want to make another RPG, I'd be down because Golden Sun is really good. But as a fan of both, it is annoying that people have to keep putting down Mario sports games without any actual analysis or understanding of the games lol

And I'm a Golden Sun fan! But Camelot is also an excellent sports game developer and they have made many great games over the years.

Z-A was February 2024, came out October 2025. To beat that, Wind/Waves would also need to come out holiday 2027.

Pokemon Wind/Waves looks pretty exciting with the underwater focus. 2027 date is also good, just further emphasizes that they can't have bad launches like Scarlet/Violet did.

Very excited for the future, it's gonna be great.
