As a teenager in Evangelicalism, being told “you’re never alone, God is always with you” was a comfort or a threat depending on how horny you were.

To any cis-het, white man, if this is how you feel, read a book or two by anyone other than other cis-het, white men and your feelings will probably sort themselves out.

Confession: I used to study metaphysics and prosperity principles. Like a lot. And I taught it as well. When I came out and deconstructed Christian supremacy, I left most of what I had learned behind. I’m feeling like it’s time to pick some of it up again. ✨

Today is Trans Day of Remembrance. ❤️🏳️‍⚧️ Love to my trans siblings and mourning the loss of the trans people we’ve lost to transphobia and violence.
