Whereas most rational people (whether City fans or not) would tend to conclude that a manager with Pep's cv renewing would surely indicate a successful defence of the 115 nonsense.

I don't think this is a surprise to any City fan. The media will generally have a different spin but we appreciate the relationship between the club, Pep and the fans and I think we have a more informed opinion on the outcome of the 115 witch hunt.
