It was an amazing show! I felt that interest in my original ideas too, and really supported by S&S and all the editors there and from other pubs I've worked with or am about to work with. I definitely plan to go again and I hope it doesn't change just as I'm finding out about it!

Thank you!! Most of the pages are 9B pencil drawings with graphite powder applied with a blending stump, and then digital watercolor, so it's a mix - and the coloring technique changes for dream and memory scenes 😊

For this whole dream sequence I did the colors in acrylic paint on transparent Duralar. I wanted imperfection and texture and this method turned out to be a ton of fun!!! 🤘🏼

This is how I do those dream/nightmare borders - graphite power mixed with acrylic matte medium and water, on frosted Duralar over printouts of the pages.
