good day fellas, here is something i've been doing on and off for a few weeks. a website! the mainstay of it is the OC viewer, which allows you to browse through a (small) catalogue of characters that i own!

just a personal nitpick, but firealpaca does support linux! i use the linux appimage version and it works well from what i can tell

after playing minecraft for at least the better part of a decade, i finally decided to make my very first custom skin. and what better inspiration to take than... my own icon! took me about 3 hours and i am proud of the result 😁

i hate drama so much.

there's a discord server i have been banned from for two years by now that straight up refuses to read any appeal and denies within seconds, just because i was unwillingly involved in drama and made a mistake as someone who was impressionable, given my age at that time.

bleh.

this is an unusual post for me, as i mainly use my bluesky for art and other pleasantries that tend to be... goobalicious 🤭

so if you've read this far, you've earned a 🍪, but mainly, if you're into the OSC, my posts may be of particular interest to you!

it's here where i urge you, even if you're not the demographic that does this, to take this mental note:

please, NEVER EVER incite drama if you have other options to resolve a feud. the amount of collateral damage that can happen as a result usually grossly outweighs the benefits. (6/6)

it should be obvious that the damage to reputation will alter one's life significantly and can break tons of connections and relationships in an instant. it's mind-boggling to see "the nuclear option" being used everywhere and anywhere, even out of solely malicious intent. IMHO, deplorable. (5/6)

another thing about drama is that it WILL occupy your mind 24/7. it truly feels inescapable when you're involved, and that will do bad things to your mental health. the sudden over-exposure and having every move of yours be watched can drive you insane. humans don't experience this naturally. if i had a metaphor/caricature for online drama, think of individual people hurling nuclear weapons at each other for the sake of "being the better person".

in reality, it could very well have been resolved by cutting each other off instead. this doesn't have to apply to all net drama though. (3/6)

drama, as we know it on the internet, is a feud between parties which escalated to attacks on the image and reputation of one another.

in this situation, some people choose to save face, while others try to diminish some party's image to make themselves look morally sound. (2/6)
