Hannah is quick to correct this. Hannah: You can't do that. Gustopher: Why? Hannah: It's against the rules. Gustopher: It is? Panel 2 Hannah rolls her eyes and pulls out her phone. Looks like they're going to have to look up the rules and make sure they're both playing the same way. Hannah: Ugh! Let's both read through the rules so we're on the same page. Gustopher: Okay. Panel 3 Hannah is staring at her phone and is not really sure what she's reading. What is a Redoubled Contract? Isn't a Grand Slam something you get at restaurants? Why does it say they need four players? Panel 4 Hannah is starting to put the pieces together. Hannah: I don't think either of us are playing right. Gustopher: I don't know what half these words mean. Seriously! What's a "Dummy Hand" and an "Unfinished Rubber".

Think of the Children - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 August is on the phone with his mother. She sent him a rather distressing video that she found on the internet. May: Augie! Did you see the video I sent? August: The one with the bird flying off with a baby? Panel 2 May is distraught! Why isn't anyone doing anything to save all these babies? Has the government even addressed the issue? May: It's terrible! I hope the baby is okay. August: Mom, you know it's AI, right? Panel 3 We now see May in the kitchen sipping from her ugliest coffee mug that is conveniently labelled "UGLY MUG". Her husband and August's father, Fergus, is looking at what's in the freezer. Looks like it's just an ice cream container that's been filled with soup. May: That can't be. What would someone gain from faking that? Panel 4 May is beginning to question August's questioning of questionable things. Where in the world could he have obtained this questioning habit. May: Why do you question everything? August: That's how you raised me! It's okay, May will soon forget about the abundance of AI generated videos of bird flying off with innocent babies after she stumbles onto the AI generated videos of elderly women being thrown out of windows.

Mature Drinks for Mature People - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 August and Gustopher are at a small coffee shop to get some drinks. The employee at the cash register looks like they haven't slept in a couple days. They probably haven't. I hope they're okay. August: One medium mocha and a small hot cocoa with extra whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles. Gustopher: WAIT! Panel 2 Gustopher has grown much more mature and sophisticated in this past year. He is becoming a man of fine taste and wishes for only the most sophisticated of drinks to sip on this cold autumn day. Gustopher: My tastes are maturing. I want my drink to reflect that. Panel 3 Gustopher slaps on his most adult and sophisticated looking face. He's prepared for this moment. He's ready. He's going to order his drink. Gustopher: I WANT- Panel 4 Gustopher: A hot cocoa with extra whipped cream and CHOCOLATE sprinkles. The employee has become distracted by their phone. WOW! There's a video of an absolutely very real bird flying off with an absolutely very real baby. This is clearly a video that was recorded by an actual living individual and not made by a computer. Why isn't someone doing something about all these birds flying off with babies? That's like the fiftieth video I've seen on the topic this week.

I like the part in the first game where a character says "Wow, this fried chicken is delicious. It makes it a lot easier to be spending [camera zoom] Five Nights at Freddy's."

I don't know, he might not have enough anxiety and depression to be modern.

I've been interested but I haven't picked it up because of this feeling that I've heard too much praise and now my expectations are far too high. It can be hard to tell if a game is the revolutionary new thing people make it out to be or if it's a case of several people discovering a genre.

How to Food - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 August has a variety of ingredients on the kitchen counter. Including "Meaty Sodium Strips", cheese, eggs, an onion, a tomato, and what one might assume is olive oil but the bottle says "All of Oil" so honestly, I don't know what it is. Gustopher is unsure what this is all about. August is wearing his "COOKING PAPA" apron. Gustopher: Are you making omelettes? August: I'm teaching you how to make them. Panel 2 Gustopher is surprised. His Dad has always taken care of the majority of cooking. The Meaty Sodium Strips are just chilling on the counter. Gustopher: Really? You always make breakfast. August: I won't always be around to make it. Panel 3 Suddenly, Gustopher is hit with an overwhelming sense of dread. He's not really registering what his dad is saying. The Meaty Sodium Strips sit menacingly on the counter. August: And learning to cook is important. First we should- Panel 4 Gustopher flings his arms in the air and yells out- Gustopher: I DON'T WANT YOU TO DIE! It occurs to August that he probably could have phrased his comment about not being around to make breakfast a little better. The Meaty Sodium Strips want you to know that one strip contains five hundred times your recommended daily allotment of sodium.

Depends on the lighthouse. Are we talking about one that's frequently surrounded by storms and has a ghost of a former keeper to keep me company? Because I'd be down for that.

Relax - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 Polly is attempting to relax at a coffee shop. Unfortunately, her mom asked her to bring her little sister along. Polly just wants to sit and enjoy her coffee but Olivia will be having none of that. Olivia: Why do you like coffee shops? Polly: The relaxing ambiance. I honestly don't know whether I should spell it ambience or ambiance so I'm spelling it one way in the comic and another way in the transcript. Panel 2 Olivia is not finding this relaxing at all. It's just boring. Olivia: What's relaxing? The bad music? The old people? Polly: It's the vibe. There is an older woman standing nearby and Olivia has said what she said in a loud enough voice to possibly offend. Fortunately for her, this old person has ruined her hearing. Please remember to bring ear protection to loud concerts, places with loud machinery, and coffee shops that play bad music. Panel 3 Suddenly, Olivia starts vibrating. She somehow managed to get the staff to serve her coffee. Olivia: I'm not relaxed! I'm shaking! Polly: I told you to get decaf! Panel 4 Perhaps this isn't as boring as Olivia originally thought. Olivia: And you don't look relaxed. Polly: BECAUSE OF YOU! Olivia is not going to sleep tonight.

I can't go back in time but I can make the comics that I needed to see back then.

My brain added a line to that 3 and thought that this was a comic book announcement and I got extra excited for a moment.

It is understandable. I feel like Emboar deserved better. I was hoping that Z-A would give us a regional variant with different typing but it tragically wasn't meant to be.

She's chopping up something green. Everyone knows that a proper meal has to have something green in it. It's science or something. Gwen's youngest brother comes in to see what she's doing. Tanner: Are you making dinner? Gwen: Yeah. Tanner: You must like to cook. Panel 2 Gwen keeps on chopping but responds honestly to her brother. The microwave in the back says "ERROR". It still works but no one knows how to make it stop saying "ERROR". Gwen: If Mom or Dad won't do it then someone has to. Panel 3 Tanner: Oh... I'm glad you do. Thank you. Gwen stops chopping for a moment. Tanner's words mean a lot to her. Panel 4 Gwen: Thanks, Tanner. Tanner: But I didn't do anything. Gwen: You're kind. That's something. Life is difficult. Life is unfair. But Gwen feels the appreciation from her brother and that makes it a little better.
