I heard it was pretty crazy during Covid too. Seems like this year has been similar from what I’m hearing. Thankfully it’s not that big a deal for us. My daughter got into it last year but definitely has moved on to other things now. I probably keep her more interested than anything lol
Literally the first time ALL YEAR I’ve seen boosters at my local Target. Pokemon peeps are crazy. My daughter and I like opening packs together (and her stealing my good cards) but we’ve barely been able to this year.
Pretty damn glad I took a couple days off to really dig into @expedition33.bsky.social. First few hours and I’m completely enraptured.
Don’t get me wrong, there’s good stuff in those routes. I just think someone only finishing A in Replicant would be able to talk about that game a lot better than someone who only finished A in Automata.
I’m not sure if you’re meaning Replicant or Automata or both. I just finished all of Replicant’s endings and honestly, I felt like endings B-E don’t really add much to the overall picture. On the other hand, with Automata, yes, you absolutely have to play through E to have a conversation lol
Just finished all endings in Nier Replicant! I played the original back on PS3 and only did ending A so it was fun going back with such a smooth makeover. Overall I love this game but especially compared to Automata, I felt like the other endings don’t really add much to the core experience.
The Switch 2 feels like what happens EVERY SINGLE TIME a company had a crazy successful console and releases a successor, including Nintendo themselves with the Wii U. It’s not as bad as THAT but still. Just feels cocky, a bit out of touch, and a bit “our shit don’t stink”
My favorite part of the Metroid Prime 4 trailer was when the narrator goes something like “Samus now has psychic powers that will allow her to…open doors…”

I think if FF7 Remake 3 had multiplayer and some kind of raid battle it would sell a bajillion more copies.
I hate sitting here and talking about adding multiplayer to single player games like it’s PS3 era but honestly, it feels like it would be an awesome addition.
Not gonna lie, the pinball section of #SplitFiction was one of the coolest things I’ve ever played in a game in my 36 years of life. I’d love to see that idea expanded on more by anyone.

I wrestle with my feelings on it. But I still think about after only seeing it once when it was in the theaters. So that says something. And to be honest, I feel like it might’ve been better on a smaller screen in my home.

I only got a few hours into it when it released. Then I finally came back to it a few months ago and played through the whole thing. It was nice to play something “political” that was so black and white and happily ever AHHHFTER compared to the current real world lol
What’s your hour count so far? I haven’t even started Chapter 5 but I feel like I’ve been playing a ton. I think I’m around 14-15 hours.

PS. Not that crazy. I didn’t get very far in the original.
I knew what I was getting into because I played it on Wii U but MAAANNNNN Xenoblade X’s first few hours move slower than molasses to me.

Wife and I watched the first Silent Hill movie last night. She’s the horror nut but never saw it before. It’s no masterpiece but I like it and it got me super pumped to play SH2 Remake soon.
