In a little over a year, the number of detention facilities used by ICE nearly doubled to 212 sites spread across 47 states and territories. Most of that growth came through existing contracts with the U.S. Marshals Service or deals to use empty beds at county jails.

Maria Santay, a U.S. citizen and community observer, live-streamed masked ICE agents detaining her after they boxed in her car from all sides and smashed her window. Local police showed up and did nothing.

She was denied access to a restroom, and forced to pee in the parking lot while handcuffed.

Congress should pass a law requiring agents to show their faces, identify themselves, & wear their badges. It’s not agent safety we have to worry about these days.

The weekly protest at the Federal building in San Diego today had inspiring speakers and plenty of positive reactions from people driving by. Thanks to Democratic Club of Carlsbad Oceanside - Demcco and many other grassroots groups for sponsoring the event. Chinga la migra!!

These South Korean workers came to the US to build an EV battery plant. They left in shackles. They still want to know why ICE agents raided, arrested workers at a Georgia battery factory in September.

In September, federal agents swarmed a Hyundai manufacturing site, detaining more than 500 workers, including more than 300 from South Korea.

Now, nearly 200 detainees are preparing to sue ICE, alleging human rights violations and unlawful arrest.

There were huge crowds yesterday in San Diego, but tons of people also showed up in nearby Carlsbad. Gotta love the inflatables!

Massive immigration raid on Chicago apartment building leaves residents reeling: 'I feel defeated' The Department of Homeland Security said federal agents with Border Patrol, the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives arrested 37 people in the raid.

A neighbor said she saw agents dragging residents, including children, out of the building without any clothes on and into U-Haul vans. Kids were separated from their mothers, she said.
