Massive immigration raid on Chicago apartment building leaves residents reeling: 'I feel defeated' The Department of Homeland Security said federal agents with Border Patrol, the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives arrested 37 people in the raid.

A neighbor said she saw agents dragging residents, including children, out of the building without any clothes on and into U-Haul vans. Kids were separated from their mothers, she said.

In honor of John Lewis, I went to the Good Trouble demonstration today in Carlsbad. There was a great turnout and, as usual, lots of good signs.

The American people were lied to about Vietnam, with tragic consequences.

We were out with a huge crowd today in San Diego. California says no to kings, dictators, fascist liars, racism and so much more! Yes to Immigration, due process, education, LGBTQ right, science etc.

Law enforcement officers should never cover their faces when making arrests or conceal their identities (unless they are working undercover). They work for us. We have a right to know who they are. These face coverings are frightening & unAmerican, as though they're ashamed of what they're doing.

ICE raided a popular restaurant in a San Diego neighborhood. About 3 dozen agents, some in full tactical gear, arrested restaurant workers while patrons were enjoying dinner. The ICE agents didn't expect a resounding rejection by neighbors & patrons. The community spontaneously protested.

Immigration court arrests continued across the nation yesterday (and are likely ongoing today).

Yesterday, in NYC, 30 ICE officers swarmed the immigration court, holding lists of names of people to arrest. All were dutifully attending their immigration hearings and many had pending asylum claims.

The very definition of evil is incarcerating for life in one of the worst hellholes on Earth men who did everything right.

But it’s beyond evil—beyond demonic—to then not try to do anything to save the men you consigned to Hell, *and* to in fact libel and slander them daily when they cannot reply.

Since Donald Trump is freaking out about Bruce Springsteen calling this the most corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration, it would be a shame if this video was shared even more widely....
