helloooooooooooo. im hardly here anymore. i've been playing warframe, spending as much time as i can with my boyfriend, attempting to rediscover my love for writing, and focusing on school/home stuff.

I had it for 3 years (3 months past the due date to get it out bc i had no healthcare and had to save up for that appointment). I had my period for two and a half years straight on it. My depression spiked through the atmosphere with it in, and my body took years to recover from the effects of it.

So, can we talk about writing and fanfic fatigue and how horrible it is to become burnt out on writing fanfic for a specific group/interest? Or is that too negative of a conversation to have in a fandom space because of toxic positivity everything must be happy topics 24/7 and all of that?

Like this year alone, I've gone through two whole instances where toxic friendships have ended and I have experienced abuse in both situations, and now... my motivation and inspiration for writing (especially writing BTS fics) is just..........................gone. As gone as the friendships are.

Nobody seems to talk about the way that toxic friendships and horrific fall-outs and abuse in fandom spaces can drain you to the point you no longer feel motivation or inspiration to continue doing things you once loved to do regarding the interests you shared with them.

I haven't been here for two weeks 😭 I had finals for one course, started another course, and have been juggling home stuff and spending as much time as I can with my boyfriend. I'm exhausted, chat 😅

Just a friendly reminder that if you're not writing solely for the purpose of loving to write and loving to create and loving to put out into the world what YOU love to read and see then you should be finding a new hobby :)
