We are saddened to share the passing of Donald R. Weakley, a veteran from Lake County Honor Flight Trip #7. Donald passed away on October 21, 2025.

We are saddened to share the passing of Timothy "Tim" Bennett, a veteran from Lake County Honor Flight Trip #26. Tim, 75, of Gurnee, IL, passed away on October 11, 2025. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Our condolences go out to the Bennett Family.

We wrapped up our final Guardian Training and Orientation of the year on Saturday for the incredible team supporting our veterans on Lake County Honor Flight 29! This full-day training equipped our guardians with the knowledge, teamwork, and heart needed to carry out the mission ahead.

We are saddened to share the passing of Charles Russell, a veteran from LCHF27. Charles passed away on September 1, 2025. www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/g... Chuck was also a gifted writer, and in his memory we are sharing the poems he wrote about his LCHF and his military service.
