09.12.2025 10:55 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Qobuz was just broken for me. Downloaded a playlist, went offline, but after a while it was stopping mid track and losing songs, claiming they weren't downloaded. I could hop on a flight with a 2hr playlist and come off with it whittled down to single digits.

08.12.2025 16:42 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0This is one of those things I try and explain to non-Brits and I just can't, it makes no sense to those in normal, functioning countries.
07.12.2025 23:20 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Being a British parent is so weird bc you're actually worried about paying the sky high rent/mortgage & getting GP appointments but the entire press keeps telling you you're worried there's a trans person or immigrant nearby & the vat on Eton means there'll only be two skiing holidays this year

06.12.2025 16:00 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0THIS omg, like I know that article went around that writers had to have characters stop and explain the plot in big friendly letters, but I didn't think it would come true so fast.
Shows now just feel like people standing around explaining the script to one another, it's like watching a meeting.
It’s incredible that places like this exist in modern Britain 😞

Tramell Tillman is worth sticking it out for, though.
A chatbot that gives you answers that look vaguely British but aren't - you could make money from that.
"By the jolly spanners, lad, take the forty-eleventh to Spattle-on-the-Wold and then nip down the snicket to Grommidge Mill, Robert's your mother's brother, old chap."

My daughter told me old Canon Powershots and Ixuses were popular with the youth now, because of the retro feel to the photos. I still have two; lent her the best (oldest) one.
Loved that Ixus. Later devices took 'better' photos, by someone's metric, but not mine.
And booze. It's really about the shot of brandy you're getting 1-3 times a day. How else do you get through December?

04.12.2025 17:21 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Oh, then could just be a genuine error. It's a known scam via Amazon, I think, sending out loads of tiny fake products for reviews, but nothing real and expensive. Does seem a bit odd.
03.12.2025 18:52 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Probably a scam, where the seller tries to demand payment, but the loopholes around this were closed a while ago.
(Ex-debt-collector. Mobile phone companies used to actually do this to customers and try to charge them because they opened it, which they deemed intent to purchase. Banned now.)
