Today, one of our police officers, while doing bus lane enforcement, caught a driver going 105km/h in a 50km/h zone. In this residential area, families with small children need to cross the street to get to a popular park. This dangerous driver received a $368 fine & a 7-day vehicle impoundment.

Such a beautiful but cold day today.

My goal was to get home to my family and I stayed silent. But is this the best level of customer service I can expect from a reputable international airline? I'm not naming names because I'm not looking for compensation but I do want to understand if there was nothing else they could do for me?

My stress levels were high, emotions were running high and being a polite person by nature, I wasn't ready to confront or raise my voice or even ask for anything more from the staff. They saw me standing for more than half the flight but offered no other support. 4/5

Then it got painful. I couldn't go on and requested the main crew manager if any another option was available. The concession I was given was to sit on the crew seat at the back for 10 minutes every hour on a 14 hour flight. I walked, I stood, almost cried when I couldn't take it any longer... 3/5

I was told the flight was full. The crew couldn't change my seat. My request to sit on the crew seat (apart from taxi, take off and landing was denied). I managed to sit on the edge for take off and then tried sitting on one hip and then switching to another for the first couple of hours... 2/5

Recently I had to rush home after my dad was hospitalized. I booked a flight immediately and was airborne within 12 hours of hearing the news. The airline didn't allow me to check in online as it was a last minute booking and gave me an exit row seat in economy, which I couldn't fit in. 1/5

While it is supposed to be a joyous time of the year when friends and families come together, it is also a time I'm thinking of those I love and have lost. It has been a hard year for me but I'm taking one step at a time to keep moving forward.
