And thank you!
Not not at all I completely agree mate!
Cheers Bill!
Thank you so much! Fingers crossed, eh! π₯°
Believe Roma knocked back our SoulΓ© bid - which is a shame because I really like him; but agree, doesnβt feel like weβre really pushing and there are definitely options on the table today. Think Γelik might end up through the door on loan.
Yeah Iβm frustrated we havenβt got involved there, especially given Silvaβs Sporting connection. But itβs not just us who should have been in that conversation.
There are so many PL teams in need of an attacking spark or depth and everyone has just left Marcus Edwards to join Burnley on loan and Kyogo Furuhashi to join Rennes for Β£10m.
Make it make sense.
If youβd said, even 18 months ago, that Marcus Rashford would be on loan at Aston Villa in February 2025, theyβd have called for the men in white coats.
Wild, wild,wild.
Like, itβs a one in two chance they get PSG because of the seeding system.
If Iβm not mistaken, Brest are looking at playing their playoff game in Paris - at the Stade de France . They could well get PSG π #UCL

I cannot, cannot wait to be on the radio with Tom tomorrow for three hours. Iβm going for 72 mentions of this in that time but Iβm willing to take under/over bets
Iβd say weβre towards the end of the middle, if not the start of the end now
I think boycott is too strong a word, and Iβve not spoken to a wide enough group of fans to give a holistic answer - but it feels more like sheer disillusionment. Lack of vitality on pitch, a sense of spiral, lack of facilities at the Bessa, hopelessness with ownership - all of it seems to play in.
First Bordeaux, now Boavista.
GΓ©rard LΓ³pez is an absolute stain on the game and these clubs that have been community cornerstones for generations.
Broke, bereft, and bottom of the pile. Itβs genuinely heartbreaking.
Boavista were formed in 1903. They won the league in 2001, becoming just the second side outside Portugalβs Big Three to do so. They reached the UEFA Cup semi-finals in 2003.
Run into the ground.
How to kill a Football Club.
I was here at the Bessa almost a year ago to the day to watch Boavista snarl and scrap their way to a 1-1 draw with Porto in the Derby in front of nearly 15000.
A year on theyβre currently bottom of the Primeira, down a man and a goal to Arouca in front of about 2k.
Yeah you canβt really blame him for that - these players have definitely not given up on their manager anyway.
Yeah him and Kulu occasionally get in each otherβs way but the cover defending in a makeshift back four, the crosses from the right, the energy up and down that flank. Thought he was excellent.
Genuinely brilliant game of football. Brutal that Pedro Porro has ended up on the losing side of this one - thought he was superb from pretty much start to finish.
Hahaha as much as I enjoy Jackβs enthusiasm, I do think perhaps winning it all might have been a touch of a stretch. But as the great man saysβ¦

The last time we beat Chelsea at the Bridge in the top flight, my Dad was 7 months old.
The last time we won there at all, he was 16.
Chelsea 1-2 Fulham.
Good things come to those who wait.
